I chose this activity because it had to do with astrology and astrologial signs. This information was interesting because I could see what type of characteristics I had according to the table. As a Pisces, it is interesting to see what kind of "person" I would be according to this table. It was also interesting to learn how to insert a comment into the table in order to see the type of sign you are. Ultimately, this project was interesting and I learned a new skill that will help me in the future when using microsoft excel.
Activity 42 Teen Cars was another one of the most interesting projects for me. In this activity I had to type up the top 10 cheapest cars for teens. This is interesting to me because I am going to get my liscense soon so it is an activity I can relate to. In this activity I also had to insert a Word Art headline, which is not only an important skill, but also adds to the creativeness of the activity. This activity was interesting and relatable, making it one of my favorite activities.
Activity 60 was the last project in the book and probably my favorite. This activity allowed me to use my own personal thoughts to determine which type of college I would possibly like to attend. This Activity was relatable because I am starting to look at colleges, and this table helped to put things in perspective. Being able to determine details such as the location and tuition of the schools was also very interesting. This activity was definitely the most useful and relatable at this point in my life...and extremely interesting too!
I chose this activity because, like activity 60 of the excel projects, it had to do with colleges. In order to do this project you had to type up certain colleges in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. I may want to go to college in this area, so it was interesting to type. In this activity we also had to add a new input mask which was a new skill. Although this was one of the earlier projects, it was one of the first that I had to figure out how to add this new skill.
Solo Artists was a pretty hard activity that probably took the longest to figure out. This activity involved using microsoft word and and inserting the document into Access. You had to set the tabs and create a txt file. Although the activity was hard, I chose to write about it because I really liked typing the top solo artists and comparing their music to the type of music I listen to now. Solo artists was the most challenging activity, but i really learned something from it.
Presidents was the second to last activity in the book. In this activity, I had to type up all of the Presidents in the United States, including their party and term. This activity was probably the most annoying activity to type up because it took so long, but ultimately it was pretty interesting because I havent learned about the Presidents in a long time. In this activity we had to create many querys, which helped to organize the information that we had to type up.
